Lovely light lodge. We've stayed in several on this site and really liked the layout of this one. I have left a comment about the bed in the main room...we think it may need replacing. Overall everything we needed for a comfortable stay for 6 adults. Great hot tub!

We had an amazing week at Southern Halt. The Lodge was beautiful and had almost everything you would need for a week away the only thing missing was a pair of kitchen scissors. Despite the weather we spent evey evening in the incredibly large hot tub and found lots to do locally. We would definitely come back again.

Would definitely recommend! The best lodge ever and very nice reception. Will definitely go back.

We had a lovely holiday. It was nice and relaxing and not over looked.

Clean, well maintained and very private. For two of us it was fine but I would not bring the family as the space is too tight. Two six foot lads in the twin bedded room is simply not workable. The kitchen was not equipped to cook for six people either. I am basing this comment on previous experience as we rent cottages in Cornwall at least twice a year. It felt very 'corporate'. There was good communication but lack of wi fi which we asked about was a problem for my husband. There are more spacious, better equipped and welcoming lodges in Cornwall although,I stress, this was still a good experience for two and we enjoyed our week. The site is attractive and well positioned for seeing North Cornwall.

Great stay. Only issue we had was one deck chair broke, but was enough other chairs and management would sort quickly.

It was amazingly clean. We didn't get there until it was dark so it was nice of them to put the lights and heating on. They were very helpful and it was nice that they emailed me just to see if we settled in all okay and if we needed anything. This is my 3rd time down here now and I love it we will be booking to come back next year.

Well, what can we say. We had a lovely stay at this lodge. Extremely clean and comfortable. The Lodge was well equipped. Side plates were exceptionally small, more like a cake plate. Make sure you take your own plastic glasses to use, when in the spa. We had a couple of small issue, that were dealt with straight away after a lady cant remember her name called to check how things were going, she was awesome and couldnt have been more helpful. Also a big thank you to Anita from housekeeping! We were expecting to have a TV in the super king room but sadly there wasnt one. None of this spoilt our holiday. We would happily recommend this beautiful lodge and hope to return again sometime in the not too distant future.

Wow!!! We had a fantastic weekend in this lodge. We had gone away to relax and distress and we have definitely done that. It was extremely comfortable and full of everything that we could possibly have needed. Every room was clean and well presented and the beds were really comfortable which is always a bonus. Set in well maintained grounds, the lodge feels very private and the hot tub was the cherry on top at the end of the day. We highly recommend this lodge to anybody looking for a bit of peace and tranquility in their lives.

Weve travelled around the uk at least 1 week a year for the last 20 years and this luxury lodge is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in , its spacious with large bedrooms each with wardrobe space , a kitchen with everything you need for self catering , large tv , WiFi that actually works , its clear that no expense was spares on the fixtures and fittings and decor or the lodge , you really have thought of everything , milk in the fridge , the kitchen pack with dishwasher tablets a sponge washing up liquid etc, the welcome pack with local restaurants and emergency telephone numbers for doctors and hospitals , and a daily hot tub check by your staff , impeccably clean throughout , and all within a peaceful country setting .

Fabulous new lodge centrally positioned in Southern Halt. Can park within a few feet of the entrance door. The lodge is very comfortable and loved the modern look and feel. On a warm day it was great to open both the bifold doors onto the large deck. The hot tub is superb. The site is so close to explore the Cornish coast, Bodmin Moor etc Great customer service from Sykes and Tracey the onsite guest services administrator.

Totally amazing! We would recommend this lodge to everyone. It is a beautiful Lodge with everything you could want on holiday. It is spotless clean and beautifully furnished.The beds are so comfortable. The hot tub is perfect and cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. The lodge is close to lots of lovely places and in easy traveling distance too. We would love to revisit the lodge at some point.
