Fistral Quay, Newquay

Lovely place , very personalized and lovely finishing touches , had everything we needed for our little break. Great communication from the host.

A really lovely house in a perfect location. Very comfortable beds, and everything you need to cook a meal with plenty of crockery etc available as it has a dishwasher. It was tastefully decorated for Christmas which was lovely and appreciated. We also have a lovely welcome pack of tea coffee milk juices biscuits and mince pies which was very welcome after our 6hr journey. Didnt use the hot tub as it was too cold outside. My only slight critique and it wasnt major but would have helped, was we only had one towel each for 10 days. 2 would have been better, especially had we also wanted to use the hot tub. The upstairs twin room has no heating which got really cold over Christmas week. Summer I guess wouldnt be an issue. The back garden is raised up from the property and is accessed up a set of steps. Its also tiny and the hot tub fills it, so nowhere for children to play. Again didnt bother us as it was cold, but in summer it might if you have small ones with you. It really is a lovely house though and the hosts Chris and Mel were very nice and helpful at all times so Id definitely go back again sometime.

Fantastic accommodation in the centre of Newquay. Clean and well maintained, with a great layout for a family holiday with teenagers and dogs. Close to all amenities and beaches, which was great and we really appreciated the goodies left by the hosts.

Great accommodation, great location, will definitely be looking at booking again for next years golf get away!

This was our 4th stay at Fistral Quay and it was amazing. The location is amazing the house itself was perfect for our large family. Clean, comfortable and welcoming, we always enjoy our stay. Chris is very nice and easy to contact. We will definitely be back we love Fistral Quay!

Thank you for a lovely stay! Perfect location, close to all shops and walking distance to beach. Even a car park a stones throw away with an electric car. Great added touches for the toddlers being child gates, highchair and travel cot. Would recommend!

It was lovely to have the space for the whole family ! The house was lovely and clean, the rooms were really big. Felt home from home! Parking would be advised to book a week but as advised it does get busy ! Mel & Chris was absolutely amazing with communication before and on the day instructions on parking etc. and we needed to contact them about the hot tub & they instantly replied and resolved the problem! Definitely would recommend and would book again ! Just a little note that the house is on a road and there is a pub opposite so could be a little noisy if you are a light sleeper or have little one in the front of bedrooms. But personally didn't bother me !!!

We love this house and have stayed here several times. The location is great and it has lots of bedrooms, which work great for our group. Chris is always super helpful if there are any issues and we will definitely book again.

The Yellow House called Fistral Quay felt like home the minute we opened the front door Chris the owner had been in touch with great information the day before so we knew where to park how to heat up the hot tub we couldnt wait to get in it regarding the parking there are 2 long stay car parks very near and you get a weeks Tkt for 15. 60 which we thought was great value The location of this house is perfect within walking distance of the harbour Towan Beach great bars and of course the breath taking Fistral Beach There were 4 generations of our family on this holiday and the house ticked every box for every one The ground floor rooms a twin and a gorgeous double were perfect for the older members of our group The kitchen was fabulous and the door opening onto the garden with the sun coming in whilst we were cooking will stay with me always The lounge with its comfortable settee was the perfect spot to relax in after a day on the beach The younger members of our family were upstairs and it was great there are 4 bedrooms up there This house is perfect for family gatherings and we will be back there wasnt any negatives at all Oh yes our holiday went too quickly Thank you to Chris & Mel for the lovely message and welcome goodies See you again Fistral Quay

Fistral Quay was just perfect for our family, central to all facilities, clean and spacious. However, booking through Sykes was an awful experience, when trying to pay online there was a technical issue and couldn't pay online, trying to contact them direct was impossible and I received emails saying they would cancel my family holiday within 12 hours if I did not pay. Causung stress and anxiety as this was a family reunion with my elderly parents. They took extra money from our account too! Never again will I book with Sykes.

The property itself & the owner was absolutely brilliant. Could not fault anything about the communication from Chris & how helpful he was. Perfect location for exploring Newquay. Sainsbury's is a 2 Minute walk from the house, perfect for grabbing essentials on route home from days out. The house has everything you need, its clean & comfortable with the added bonus of the hot tub to wind down in after a day on the beach. We genuinely loved our 2 week break & will definitely be booking again for next year. Highly recommend.

Fab house and fab stay. Location and hot tub are your selling point. We had 10 adults so limited space on a wet day so absolutely do able. Quick to respond to any needsconcerns. Agree with others a washing machine would be handy but I was on holiday, also there is a launderette 5min walk. Thank you, hope to return one day.

Fistral Quay was perfect for our group. The location was fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere, which really suited us. There is no parking at the house but we found on road parking or used the long stay just up the road. There was mention of car parking permits, but we didn't find any, although this didn't cause any issues. The house was perfect for our needs, there were plenty of beds, which suited our large group and all of the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfy linen and towels were provided too. The house facilities were all ideal, including a dishwasher, BBQ, a large table for eating at and a good size hot tub, which was an added bonus. Extra touches like dishwasher tablets were appreciated. Thank you for accommodating our group. I hope you allow us to book again with you, as the property was perfect for our stay.

This was our 3rd stay and as previously the property was spotless with all beds made up on arrival. The welcome pack was lovely too. Hosts are great!!! Would rather have a washing machine than a dishwasher but that's just our preference. Love it here and we most definitely will be coming back

Great location with everything you'll need for your stay provided! Owners even provided extras which was greatly appreciated. Its well equipped for children, we had a 6 month old and they had high chair, cot and stair gates which helped tremendously. The house was very clean and would recommend this place to anyone. We'll definitely be going back. Thankyou!

This is our second stay at the house its a beautiful house with perfect location and a 5 minute walk to the harbour. The only thing I would say that could be improved is a later check out 1010.30am With check in at 4pm and check out at 9am you loose a day and when travelling far its a early morning to be packed up and out and a tiring drive home.

Fistral Quay is a lovely place to stay, located near to the town and amenities. Its warm and welcoming with all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend and will look to stay here again.

We had a great time at Fistral Quay. I can't thank Chris enough for making our stay very enjoyable. The house is very well located. We had a great time and the kids loved the hot tub and the use of the belly boards. It's very close to the beech and there is lots to do.

Lovely cottage and fabulous location its so close to the beaches and shops. Having the hot tub is great. Contact from owner before arrival was helpful and the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely treat. The weather was really awful the day we arrived and we were able to access the property slightly earlier, which was brilliant. Note the property is near a pub, which was noisy some evenings. There is also a check out time of 9am!

Lovely place to stay, everything you could need was supplied, idea location close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants, good communication with the owners who were lovely. The property is located across from a pub which is noisy at times but they close the outside area in the evening which is good. The property could do with a little more worktop space to accommodate 10 people, but we managed ok. The hot tub was lovely. There isnt parking outside but there are local car parks very near, we paid weekly which is very reasonable and we could come and go and just display our ticket each time. Myself and my family would definitely return, thank you.

This house was absolutely perfect for the gathering of a group of 11 ladies! Great location for the town and harbourbeaches so everything was walkable with the long stay carpark just behind. Chris was a GREAT communicator and everything felt very personal and thought about with a welcome message and goodies. The house was very clean, modern and neat. We really respected the place and all its furnishings for we could see the care that had been given to the holiday home. Everything we needed was thought of and already placed somewhere convenient. We didnt want to leave and we made lots of happy memories there. Thank you.

This is our second stay in Fistral Quay, we love it it's perfect for our needs. The welcome hamper is a lovely touch, the house is immaculate and very spacious. Excellent location and comfortable could not recommend enough.

It would be helpful to have more places to hang wet towels and full length mirrors in each bedroom. We didnt think it was suitable for dogs as garden is so small and our boxer and westie peeded up the hot tub and pooed behind the hot tub!!! Not knowing the address until wed paid was a disadvantage as in hindsight staying on the busy Main Street, although convenient for both beaches, meant that we had a week of broken sleep with drunken shouting until 4am most nights!!!!!

Such a lovely property and location right between Fistral beach and Towan beach. A lovely welcome with wine and biscuits too, with the property being extremely clean and homely feeling. One thing to say was that there wasnt a washing machine which would have made it perfect, as we had a baby with us. But other than that such a lovely place.

Our stay at fistral quay was amazing, spacious house lovely and clean. Greeted with a welcome pack, which included tea and coffee with milk in the fridge perfect for arrival. The kitchen is equip with everything you need, dishwasher tabs, liquid, tea towels etc. Towels provided, a iron and ironing board and hairdryers also. These extras make the stay that bit easier. Perfect location and in the centre to the beaches thank you so much to Chris and mel we will defo be staying again.

This is a fabulous house with plenty of room, and a great location, 10 minute walk to the town and 10 minute walk to Fistral Beach. No problems with communication with the owners, nothing was too much trouble. Tea, scones, jam and clotted cream left for us on our arrival, also a bottle of Bucks Fizz and Prosecco. A lovely touch. We are hoping to go back again sometime.

Our stay can be described in one word AMAZING! !! We were 2 families, 3 generations and 2 small dogs. The property was warm, very comfortable, extremely clean and the location between the 2 beaches and the proximity to the harbour was brilliant. The bedroom configuration with the split between the different types of rooms really worked for us. The communication with both Sykes and the owners leading up to and during our stay was faultless with any queries being answered very promptly. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked our next stay. Thank you Chris and Mel for your hospitality the cottage was warm and inviting when we arrived and the welcome pack was super and much appreciated.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this property, it has just what we need. Chris and Mel are fantastic and so helpful in every way. We stayed over Christmas and the house was made beautifully festive for us. We will most definitely be back in the future. Fistral Quay is a wonderful holiday let , perfect for large groups with plenty of space that you dont feel on top of each other. It is clean, and the owners and so welcoming and accommodating. It is perfectly situated that it is a pleasant flat stroll into town and a little further to the beaches so we didnt have to use our cars. We will definitely be booking this property in the future for a third time.

Place had more space than expected, and was easily room for 11 of us without feeling crowded.

We had a fabulous holiday, the house was spotlessly clean and in an ideal location, only 5 min walk to town, harbour and beach! The hot tub was great.
