Godrevy Cottage Reviews

Victoria
Really enjoyed our stay at Godrevy Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and in a lovely location, well positioned for exploring the local area which is stunning.
The cottage was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you could wish for. Private gardens with the added bonus of a hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Carole
Beautiful cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely village location, the local pub is easy walking distance and does excellent meals. Stayed 3 years ago too. Will definitely be returning.
One of three properties, own hot tub which was lovely, however you need to walk across the drive and down some steps to reach it, so we wore tracksuits and took our towels. Small lounge with one sofa and two chairs. Lovely large kitchendininglounge area. One king bedroom and second bunk bedroom, ideal for children, lots of toys and games. Handily situated to reach Hayle, St Ives, Penzance 3rd. Nice pub in village. Comfy bed, good sleep. All you need in kitchen, couldn't find a sharp knife or a knife sharpener! Lovely extra touches like flowers and wine, thank you. Glad there was a downstairs shower room, if we had to use the ensuite I would have liked a couple of grab rails in the bath. Would stay again.
Loved Godrevy Cottage just right for a chilled out break for my husband and I. Lovely touches around cottage, made it feel homely, would definitely recommend and would stay there again only confusion was when to put bins out one leaflet says Thursday and another says Friday
A lovely cottage, very well appointed. The location was great for us and the area is beautiful. The hot tub is a special treat especially as it is open to the sky to see so many stars. We are looking forward to staying again.
Claire
Fantastic cottage that had all the facilities and home comforts we needed. Property was well maintained and clean, kitchen was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

We had a fantastic two weeks staying in this lovely cottage,it was a great place to start are adventures in Cornwall Thank you.
We have just got back from a 7 night stay at Godrevy Cottage. A beautiful property in a fantastic location for exploring the local area and its beautiful beaches. Lovely big garden and hot tub area, perfect for a family of 4 to relax and enjoy time together. Every where was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lovely to arrive to milk, wine and flowers too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, we hope to visit again in the future.
We loved staying at Godrevy Cottage. It is clean, wellequipped and comfortable. Anne and Michael are lovely hosts, full of local knowledge and with plenty of recommendations for places to visit. It was our third stay here and just as enjoyable as the first.
Lovely quiet village, with local pub excellent food Lovely cozy cottage, crisp white bedding and fluffy towels were appreciated. Short drive to Hayle with its stunning beaches
Claire
Stayed here 5 times and always a good stay . We liked the new upgrade of the sofas in both living rooms . We noticed the barn next door is now pet friendly and we would very much like to bring our dog into the cottage if we stayed again here in the future.
Lovely cottage located in a quaint Cornish village. Minutes from stunning beaches. The cottage is perfect for relaxing and the hot tub is an added bonus.

This was our second stay at the cottage and we thought it was better than last time with new sofas! It was spotlessly clean. Milk and wine on arrival was super kind and helpful. Hot tub absolutely brilliant. All facilities working and excellent. The weather was mixed but we found loads of things to do. When it rained we got the train from st erth to st ives to shop! Dishwasher and washing machine handy and worked well.
Steven
We really enjoyed our stay at Godrevy Cottage. It was very comfortable and lovely, with good facilities and a great base for going into St Ives via the train service from St Erth. With it's own hot tub and garden area it felt very private. We would be really happy to use it as a base again.

What a hidden gem this place is. Had a fantastic stay at the cottage which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Also met the owners Michael and Ann who were sooo lovely and chatty that it was like having a conversation with your Nabhours . St Ives is only 15 mins away and also lands end was 30 mins away . Will definitely be booking this place on a regular basis . 1010 for sure . We were lucky to be able to catch the new year fireworks in st Ives which were also spectacular and breath taking. See you soon
This was our second time at Godrevy Cottage and it was just as good as the first. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. Lovely to have a hot tub at the end of a day walking. I would recommend taking bathrobes or extra towels if using it. Looking forward to booking again.
Ideal base for exploring Cornwall. Cottage was lovely and clean. Couldn't fault it. Local pub only a 5 minute walk and serves amazing food. Overall a fantastic holiday and definitely will be back.
Richard
A well situated holiday cottage, large en suite master bedroom and small second room with bunk beds. A lovely hot tub and garden area, a short walk from the property. The property is clean and well maintained.WiFi worked well. Parking is easy , but turn in from road needs care. Local pub within a 5 minute walk, supermarket nearby.
Graham
Pretty comfortable, though the 2 heaters in dining area did not work. Fortunately we did not need them. There was no shaver point in the property, so we had to buy an adapter for electric toorhbrushes.
What a perfect mini break in Cornwall staying at this lovely cottage. The accommodation was so clean with great facilities & perfectly located in a quant peaceful village, but handy for trips out to south West Cornwall. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay & are already looking to book again.

Having stayed in another of Michael & Anne's properties i received the same level of customer care and facilities,The property is cleaned by Lou to a very high standard with additional nice touches like fresh milk a bottle of wine and a small bunch of flowers to welcome you on arrival We will always consider staying in Angarrack when visiting this part of Cornwall because the location is quiet and not as expensive and better value for money than the more popular Carbis Bay and St Ives where parking is a major issue , Based in Angarrack you are about 1 mile from Hayle and it's amenities plenty of food and shopping options, Godrevy cottage has a lovely garden to sit in for an outdoor breakfast and a hottub for those evenings when you just want to relax in a peaceful area , The Angarrack inn does really good food with a quiz night on a Sunday Another relaxing stay
We had an amazing time. The cottage was full with all amenities you require on a holiday. Anne was so helpful with local restaurants and also kindly gave extra books for my son to read. The cottage is beautiful , perfect location to get to most of the tourist attractions and the best part is the hot tub after a hiking day to relax. We had a wonderful time during Easter break. Thank you for milk and wine so well thought of. Everything was perfect. We definitely recommend and will definitely return.
Michael
Godrevy Cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and a delight to stay in. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
We really enjoyed our stay and the accommodation was perfect for our family of 4. The cottage is in a great location to travel to many local attractions and walking distance to a great local pub. The hot tub was a welcome feature and the garden was a great size too.
Lovely cottage, very clean and well looked after. It is very much like a home from home as there is everything that you would need as well as some lovely little personal touches like, milk in the fridge on arrival, a bottle of wine and lovely fresh flowers. The hot tub and garden were great, also very clean and maintained but the only down side is they arent attached to the property and you have to walk across the drive way to get to it, and there are other families in the cottages next to you so I didnt feel like my 12 year old daughter could just play out in the garden with her football like she would at home. But all in all the cottage is lovely and would definitely recommend.

Carole
The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Very very clean. The hot tub was perfect. We felt very comfortable and at home, washed we could have stayed longer. The village pub was a 2 minute walk where we received a warm welcome and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Amazing cottage with everything you could ever want. Lovely hot tub. Beautiful flowers and wine on arrival which was a lovely welcome. Excellent location to visit lots of beautiful places in Cornwall. Will definitely be booking again! Thank you. X
Claire
A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. A warm welcome to fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Oh and a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. As we stayed in February the nights were extremely cold, its a very old cottage so to have the wood burner was lovely, made they stay even cosier. 1010 for cleanliness, believe me I looked for faults but there were none. Clean fluffy towels, crisp white linen. I would highly recommend a stay here, an extremely comfortable, welcoming cottage. Will be definitely booking to stay again.
The cottage was lovely. Wine, flowers and milk was a lovely surprise on arrival. Everything you could ever need was there and more. The girls enjoyed playing with the toys and it was nice to have a high chair and some baby bits too. The hot tub was great. An added bonus which our girls loved. The local pub was very welcoming and food was good. We had a great week. Lots of memories made. Thank you.
Claire
Absolutely beautiful cottage, extremely clean and equipped with all you could possibly need. Flowers, wine and milk were such a lovely gesture upon arrival. Ownershousekeeper made us feel very welcome and kept us informed. The location of the cottage is perfect, quiet little village but very close to beaches and amenities. Lots of amazing memories made as a family, sunset at Godrevy point to name a few. Hot tub at the cottage was a huge bonus. Thank you so much, we'd definitely recommend visiting. Xxx
Catherine
Excellent property exceeded expectations. Loads of unexpected facilities like slow cooker. Paperwork needs updating as there was no quiz at pub but still had a great night there staff and locals so friendly and bin day is Friday not Thursday. Central to many places and really loved the patio and hot tub. Looking forward to visiting again.
Debbie
Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated but also very homely and cosy. Pretty garden, great hot tub, well equipped. Great location near the A30 not near enough that it disturbs you! so everything is within easy reach if you want to explore. Nice local pub for dinners. Easy drive to local beaches, also the park and ride for St Ives, and slightly further afield but easily reachable are the Lizard, Porthcurno, Sennen, Falmouth, pretty much everywhere. We flew in to Newquay, it's an easy 30min drive from there to Angarrack.
Stunning place, very tidy and modern. Everything you need in place. Really home from home feel. Great communication from the manager. Better than we imagined. Thank you so much. We would definitely come back.
A Lovely and clean cottage, fresh flowers, and bottle of wine on arrival which was much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped more than enough for our needs. The bed was very comfortable, slept better here than I do at home. Being over 6ft with a few extra pounds I did find the downstairs shower a bit small for me, but that was the only fault, but as there is a shower upstairs it wasnt an issue. Would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to be back soon. Sean & Lynn
Great location for many places to visit nice and secluded but near amenities
Bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent and clean. However the downstairs furniture was tired and in particular the leather furniture was badly stained. The hot tub is in need of attention being scratchedscraped in several places water levels were low despite a request to fill up not done resulting in strong chemical smells. Only used it twice.
