11 Horizon View Reviews

It would have been appreciated to have toiletries and a bath robe in both bedrooms. We assumed it was an oversight but apparently not. It would be helpful to have info re rubbish, recycling etc on the info sheet. One morning we were without heating or hot water and the very helpful man who came to sort it out would have had a much quicker job if he could have accessed the boiler immediately. The potholes in the drive were difficult to avoid. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Its a beautiful little lodge. We had a wonderful stay, the views were spectacular from the hot tub. Extractor fan in the en suite bathroom was very noisy but we were able to turn it off and other than that it was perfect
We had a great time at the lodge, we found it comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub was an added bonus. The site is very pretty and well maintained. It was great to see wildlife in and around the site. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an undisturbed rest.
Matthew
Second time weve been to Horizon View and this time my sister and her family also came. We love the surroundings, and how central the cabins are from all the attractions and two coasts. And the kids loved the hot tub!
We were both very pleased with the accommodation. It was exactly as described. I have nothing negative to say. Everything was excellent. We would stay again and would definitely recommend it to others.
The property was excellent. As someone who often cleans when I arrive I really didnt have to here it was immaculate, spotless and we really couldnt find fault with it. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need for a break away and the view was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained and perfect for a little stroll in the morning very quiet. The staff were also great and I was pleased to receive a courtesy call the day after arrival to check everything was ok
Amazing holiday, this is our third visit to southern halt and wont be our last
Matthew
Wonderful cabin. Felt really relaxed. Perfect distance from both coasts. Would 100 book again and recommend to friends and family
Andrew
Absolute stunning scenery, the lodge is excellent, have revisited multiple times now, and will be going back again. Would highly recommend to anyone!
This is the most beautiful cottage I have ever been to. Peaceful location and the view is amazing. I highly recommend it!

There were two reclining sun chairs one was held together with silver duct tape the had nuts and screws that had come very loose loose which we tightened up ourselves not acceptable and should of been inspected and addressed before our stay This issue was reported at reception.
The lodge was quite basic compared to other lodges we have stayed in
Angela
Hi we have stayed at this property before, we travel regularly to Cornwall my mams hometown she is now 83 and actually lived on Havett Rd in the 4050s as a farm. I had 3 lodges for my family 8,10 and 11. They were particularly clean and the decking dangerous for the little ones. There was a leak in the bathroom at 11 which looks like it had bern leaking for a long time by the colour of the wooden floor. We stay the same week every year not sure about next year now very disappointed Angela
The property was presented very well with fantastic views over the cornish countryside. The lodge was clean and tidy with every amenity you could think of.
Sophie
Me and partner really enjoyed our stay and will be looking and coming again next year. The view was absolutely incredible and would highly recommend.
We had a fantastic time at 11 Horizon View the lodge was the best we have ever stayed in and the view we had from the hot tub was something else. We would highly recommend this lodge and hope to visit again sometime in the future.
This is our 4th time staying in either 10 or 11 Horizon View. The reason for this is that they have the best views. We have loved our stay again, everything is just perfect and the weather was a bonus. We love the privacy of the Lodges with the clever landscaping between them. The gardens are perfectly maintained and it always looks neat. The Lodge has absolutely everything you would need and is a real home from home. The table lampshade in the second bedroom could do with being replaced as it is worn out but this is the only fault we could find. We will be back!
Beautiful views, very comfortable and spacious. Great base for exploring and visiting those lovely cornish gems.
The roads around the site had large pot holes. Which we didnt think was very good. This was our second time and thought it was a lot more expensive this year.
Such a lovely property with the nicest view! Was nice and quiet, really enjoyed
Amazing place
