The home was beautifully presented and in a superb location, close to pubs and the beach. Slight walk uphill back to the property but not an issue for us as only a 5 minute wander. Great having 2 parking spaces and could easily fit 1 more than this on private driveway. Lots of lovely touches such as welcome pack with wine, milk, tbags, coffee and thoughtful touches like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, handwash and new dishcloths. Great facilties to wash beach towels and beachwear. We did have a problem with the double bed on arrival as it was broken and noisy, the hosts sam and john tried thier best to resolve this for us on a Sunday evening, a new bed base was ordered but wouldn't arrive in time for us to benefit, but they kindly done a temporary fix which helped a little but still caused some loss of sleep. This bed would be much better if it was another king size so would suit another couple. Apart from this we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return as this is a beautiful family holiday home.

We had a wonderful time, the house is a perfect size for large parties with no one feeling on top of another. Sam, the housekeeper had ensured the house was presented beautifully and helped us with finding window keys and an extended gate for the back garden both of which were required as we have a neuro divergent granddaughter who loves escaping! Location perfect not only for Marazion but a lot of wonderful beaches. Perfect holiday., thank you.

We booked this house because we have four children that have additional needs. They no longer cope with caravan holidays. This house was ideal. Very close to the beach and other areas of interest. We visited many different places and it was nice to watch a film in the evening. The wet room was very handy for after the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the hamper very much appreciated. It was great that there was a big enough table for us all to sit at. Very homely and my youngest son really didn't want to leave.

Excellent space as we were 8 adults. Very well equipped and every comfort catered for. Lovely generous welcome package too. Let future guests know thats there are no hairdryers. Would be nice to have hot tub included in the price as a very expensive extra that we did not want to pay for.

We were very pleased with Hagar Vor. It's a really nice house which has clearly had a lot of money spent on it. The house was clean and very comfortable and in a good location close to the centre of Marazion.. The property was advertised as being suitable for 8 people.Our party was 5 adults which was fine but I think 8 adults would be a bit of a squeeze. We were pleased with the thoughtful touches such as milk, bread and eggs being supplied. An enhancement in this area would be for clingfilm and aluminium to be supplied. We would recommend Hagar Vor to anyone looking for a holiday cottage in the area.

Absolutely amazing stay at Hagar Vor, beautiful home with lovely extra treats on our arrival. The house is great for a large family or friends group and rhe hot tub is a nice extra treat after a long day out. Located perfectly for loads of day trips within 3045 min drive and spectacular views of St Michaels Mount to top it off. I would highly recconmend to anyone considering staying here.

This was a good, modern property with a lovely view across the bay and close access to the beach. There was ample parking for two cars and was situated on a private road. It was clean, well furnished and had all the facilities needed for a great holiday, including the hot tub which could be hired at an extra cost. Our boys loved it. The welcome hamper was great and exceeded expectations. The only addition we would suggest to the facilities is that the owner provides cutlery suitable for younger children as our two found it difficult to handle the large cutlery provided and had to eat meals using a spoon! We particularly liked the idea of a report booklet so that any problems could be remedied quickly. Whilst we were there, we had problems with the DVD players not working. This was remedied promptly the next day. Thank you for the quick action. Every room in the house had a TV with DVD player attached to, I think, 3 of them. Whilst they were an asset for rainy days and allowed for different family choices of viewing, we felt that one in every room was rather over the top. Having stayed in this area of Cornwall for a good many years, we'd recommend Hagar Vor for a really good holiday.

The house was just perfect. From the welcome pack which included many tasty Cornish delights, to the well proportioned rooms, well presented communal areas and the larger than normal hot tub in its own house!! We were very impressed with the thought placed on making our stay special and we would love to return.

Hagar Vor was in a beautiful location with exceptional views. Overall this stay was lovely, the house had everything we needed. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived but the owner got this fixed within two days which was amazing. Only thing we found was the place wasnt as clean as we would of likedexpected. The bathroom was filled with dust and could clearly see where it wasnt clean under the sink and behind doors etc. After reading the blue guide book it also states to not wash the beddingtowels if dirty and therefore I think a second lot of towels should be provided for this when staying for a week. Its nice to have a fresh set! Other than this we couldnt fault the stay

The house was perfectly positioned for quiet but in easy reach of Marazion and St Michaels mount. It was worth paying the extra to use the hot tub, the owner came in ever day to clean it. A large house that easily would fit 8 people with a ample parking.

We had a fabulous time at Hagar Vor and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Marazion. The house had everything and more . It was spotlessly clean. We hired the hot tub for the week which was great to use after a busy day out. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing. Thoughtful welcome pack with bread, milk, tea, coffee, wine, butter and cheese and fresh flowers was a lovely touch. The kitchen was well equipped, making meal times pleasant, infact all of us eating together was one of my daughters best bits of the holiday. The house is in walking distance of the town and the beach, the fire engine pub is 2 minutes away and serves amazing burgers at lunchtime. We really didnt want to come home.

Hagar Vor was a beautiful house that had everything and more that we could need for a comfortable stay. The views from the house of St Michael's Mount are stunning. The village of marazion is beautiful and the pub The fire engine Inn is well worth a visit for some beautiful food and a fantastic little beer garden at the back with stunning views. The 1 negative I could give is that the Hot tub isnt just part of the price, we felt that an extra 200 for the week with 150 damage deposit was a little excessive for us so we didn't add it. All in all we would love to stay at this house again if we visit Marazion in the future.

A very comfortable and well equipped house with friendly and helpful owners. The welcome pack was extremely weak received. We loved the view of the mount. The decorations and bedlinen etc were to a very high standard. The house was lovely.

Location was great with lovely views. The accommodation was perfect, with everything thought of, to make our stay really great. The only disappointment I had, was that I understood that we were able to use the hot tub, if we prearranged it. I thought this meant prearranged during our stay and not before the holiday began. So unfortunately, we were not able to use it while we were there. Other than that, very satisfied.
