Meadowside, Goonhavern

Very well equipped comfortable property. Enjoyed sitting in the conservatory watching the garden birds. Large hot tub ideal for any aches and pains. Interesting information on family bedroom furniture. Ideally situated to local amenities, we used the food voucher to buy Cornish products including saffron buns and heeva buns. Pub and cafe within walking distance. Close to several beaches and local museum at Perranazubole. Helpful owners.

A very comfortable house with lots of home comforts. Good area to get to most places. Very welcoming hosts. Our fourth visit. Will be back.

A wonderful. well equipped, clean house in a great location for exploring the area. The hot tub is a real plus for relaxing after a day being out and about. The pub across the road was welcoming and served tasty food and a good range of drinks. We could not find any fault with the property which made for a brilliant week in Cornwall.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful family home. Everything needed was catered for. We booked as my daughters wedding was 5minutes away at Treseren. Central location with easy access to all surrounding beaches and villages.

Beautiful holiday home. Very spacious inside and out. The kitchen is very well equipped. A family of 9 loved staying at Meadowside.

The property is equipped with everything you need. Including travel cots for families with babies or toddlers. It is a spacious house with more than enough room for 8 people. The beds are comfy, the lounge is large as is the kitchen. The garden was spacious with a large lawn a raised patio with large round table and 8 chairs. The hot tub is an added bonus. It is a beautiful, luxurious home that you want want to leave. It us also ideally located for places like Perranporth, Newquay, St ives and all the other surrounding beaches. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, when we asked if there was a parasol for the garden table they came round 30 minutes later and set it up for us. We would definitely come back. All in all a great stay that you won't forget.

Perfect stay in Meadowside. Home from home comforts and certainly could not have asked for any more. Any correspondence with the owner was perfect.

The house and amenities were fantastic. Really comfortable stay and great location. The only massive downside is the ring doorbell. I know it states it is there for security and knowing when new people arrive but every time we left for the day or returned we felt we were being watched. Why do you need to know when people arrive w when it clearly states not to arrive before 4pm. Such a shame as everything else is great but I would not book again

Meadowside exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked through the door. The house looked, felt and smelt very clean. We only used the downstairs double bedroom but if I needed an escape there were 3 other fantastic rooms to choose from. The kitchen was exceedingly well equiped with everything you could possibly want or need it has been well thought out and Amanda and David should be very proud of the standard of their property, I can honestly say this is by far the best one we have ever stayed in and we have used Sykes holidays for a good few years now. The decor and furniture was clean and well looked after and the gardens extensive ideal for a family to relax in. We didnt use the hot tub as the weather didnt stay warm enough for a big softy like me but it was there for us to use should we have wished. It was great to be able to use the local buses to get around rather than having to drive everywhere, the bus stop was only a couple of minutes away and we were able to visit Truro, Newquay and perranporth without having to drive. Thank you Amanda and David for the lovely fresh flowers and the unexpected shopping voucher they were a lovely thought, and thank you David for the speedy repair in the bathroom. We would definitely book again if we visit Cornwall we couldnt think of going anywhere else. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone who want that bit of luxury because you get in here. What a wonderful house. We had an amazing week at Meadowside, great location and great hosts. Can't fault anything, will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at here. The property was very spacious and very well equipped. The location is great and there is so much to do around the property. The local shop had everything and the staff was very friendly. Baby and toddler items were so useful and actually ment we had over packed. The information pack and equipment instructions were very useful and detailed. The only issues we had were no child locks on the kitchen cupboard and the glass coasters which had to be moved. Absolutely wonderful stay and will definitely book again.

Spacious property with comfortable furniture for sitting and eating. Very well equipped. Someone has paid attention to all the small details to cover all eventualities! We only used the downstairs bedrooms but the beds were comfortable and the en suite shower rooms are wheelchair friendly. Excellent! A grab rail would have made them perfect. The hot tub was a bonus and used every day, although it is showing signs of age. We had a small problem arise during our visit. A phone call to Emma and it was sorted out very quickly and effectively. Excellent! We enjoyed our stay and would return again. Thank you.

A lovely property in a great location. We found the owners have thought of everything we might need to have a wonderful week at Meadowside. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day sightseeing and we had so many channels to choose from on the smart TVs located in each room. Within a few minutes walk of a great pub serving delicious food too. Would highly recommend!

Stunning house, very big & spacious, lovely and clean. Beds very comfortable, everything you need and more. Great location, to explore every where around. The pub down the Rd was great, food was lovely, shop also only a 5 minutes away which was very handy. Definitely book this place it's great.

Meadowside exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, with my husband commenting it was the most comfortable bed he had ever slept in. We think as a family it was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We hope to be able to return to Meadowside again sometime.

Meadowside provided the perfect home whilst on holiday! We had everything we needed and more. Meadowside provided everything from childrens plates and cups to salt and pepper. The 20 voucher for the local shop and flowers were a lovely surprise. Emma was very quick at responding to any queries. Overall this has been the best holiday cottage we have stayed in ever!

Couldn't fault the holiday home at all. Second time of staying and we loved it just as much as the first, needless to say, if we need a holiday home in this area o Cornwall again, we know where we will stay. Amenities and items within the home were all there, nothing you need to take. Home is lovely and clean and the hot tub is a bonus.

Lovely property with plenty of space inside and outside, well maintained and equipped. Location is great for exploring Cornwall. Communication, with owner, very easy. The 6 people in our group had a really enjoyable stay, and I would recommend Meadowside for a holiday.

The holiday property was fantastic. The milk, voucher and cream tea provided were so welcoming and very much appreciated. Perhaps to have had more detail on the website stating the good quality of the child's cot, particularly the mattress, would have been helpful as we would not have packed our own.

We really enjoyed our recent stay, the actual home looked better than the pictures even though I didn't think that was possible. It was well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. The hot tub is a great touch too, lovely for relaxing after a day exploring. It is a very short drive from Perenporth which we visited a lot during our stay. The information guide was fab, a real personal touch to tell us about the history of the home & furnishings as well as need to know phone numbers, takeaway details and leaflets on things to do. I would definitely give this home a 1010

We could not have wished for anything better. So well equiped with good quality fixtures, fittings and equipment. Pictures are what you see is what you get. The whole house is so large. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, who answered questions by text immediately. We can thoroughly recommend Meadowside.

Amazing property, plenty of space all rooms are very spacious and although we were a group of 4, it can easily accommodate 8 with enough space to hide if needed. All rooms were well equiped especially the kitchen. All the showers performed well and the beds were comfortable. The village pub is good, with great food and the local store garden center provides good fresh produce the garden center has a fruit and veg shop restaurant. Well served by a bus route that goes to Perranporth Truro and Newquay The only thing I would say that goes against the listing was that the hot tub is overlooked from one side. One more thing, the house has lovely hosts that take care of the hot tub and obviously have a great deal of love for the property

The holiday home was second to none and would recommend to friends and relatives, we will definitely stay there again in the future when visiting that area. The listing of the property doesn't actually do it justice, it far outweighed our expectations. The arrival to fresh milk in the fridge and teacoffee meant we could have a nice drink before getting ourselves unpa ked after a long drive.

I have just spent the most incredible week at Meadowside in the Cornish sunshine. A group of us who are long time friends all met at Meadowside for a week of fun and reminiscing and the property was absolutely perfect for us. We had plenty of space for us all and the garden was stunning, we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting outside with a glass of wine in the sunshine. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt very welcomed at Meadowside and were greeted with lovely fresh flowers and a voucher for the local shop, which really is the best local shop I've come across! The location of this property is perfect for exploring Cornwall, it's close to many beaches such as Perranporth, Crantock and Newquay. We also visited the stunning towns of St Ives and Padstow which really aren't far away. There is a lovely local pub across the road which offered great food and entertainment. I would highly recommend Meadowside and we'll certainly be visiting again. Thank you to the owners Amanda and David, we all had a fantastic holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Meadowside. The property is the most well appointed we have ever stayed in and was spotless we were particularly taken with the Neff appliances! There was a welcome gift left which was a lovely surprise to find along with milk in the fridge. The children loved the gardens and the addition of the hot tub made their week. The property gave us space to mix and spread out alike. It is perfectly located for Perranporth beach and other local attractions but still quiet. Local amenities were spot on with a playground for the children, a lovely local shop and a pub that served amazing food. My only disappointment is that upon returning home to rebook for the same time next year the week had already gone! I have no doubt that we will be back at some point in the future at some point.

Just spent 7 nights here at meadowside and have no bad words to say, everything was perfect from start to finish. House was well equipped tidy and spacious and perfect for disabled wheelchair user will definitely return.

The property exceeded our expectations. The amount of room the property gives is a big bonus, we were a family of 7 adults and a young baby. There is nothing we needed to ask for, it is home from home and over and above. Good location for travelling around and we would hope to return again. Thank you to the owners for a spotless home.
