We booked Riviere House to celebrate a special birthday. We wanted somewhere that 6 adults and 4 children could be accommodated easily. it was perfect. The house is in a very quiet area, far from the road an has wonderful views across to the surrounding countryside and ocean. It is a short drive into Hayle and the beautiful beaches. It is also convenient for catching the train into St Ives. The accommodation was lovely and decorated very tastefully. The children and adults loved the hot tub. We had a bbq one night and the dining room and kitchen are perfect for parties etc. Jane and Henry kindly left me a lovely homemade chocolate cake, fresh flowers and two beautifully hand painted cards birthday and easter. We agreed that we all had a fabulous week and thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the house after a busy day on the beach or local places of interest to chill in the hot tub. Thank you Jane and Henry.

Wonderful week spent at Riviere House, just before Christmas. House was beautiful and dressed for Christmas too which was stunning, and had everything you could need. Games room and Hot tub were an amazing addition. Property situated really well for getting out and about to explore too. Hosts were lovely and really helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this property anymore. We definitely look to rebook in the future.

We loved our stay at Riviere House. The hosts welcomed us on arrival and had prepared a welcome pack for my birthday celebration which was delightful. The house is beautiful and very comfortable with everything as promised. The locations is fab and we enjoyed the local walks and fantastic beach. We had fun with the hot tub, BBQ and pizza oven which really added to our enjoyment. Would highly recommend!

Riviere House is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for the most popular sights and experiences of Cornwall. Every space was comfortable and immaculate, the facilities were amazing and we were greeting with a hamper, a cake and fresh flowers on arrival which was a beautiful touch. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could imagine, and the washer and tumble dryer facilities were a godsend for us. I would recommend a midweek hot tub clean or some hot tub cleaning solution to be available for guests should they wish to refresh, after 4days the children had practically lived in it and it was ready for some attention I have already recommended the cottage to my friends and family as it really is a lovely place to stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Absolutely AMAZING spot. Secluded, peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. The house is stunning, its furnished very tastefully with each room having its own theme and the use of local artists for artwork, furnishings and the handwashhand lotion is the cherry on the top. We were provided with a lovely chocolate cake it was my husband and his fathers birthday whilst we were there so of course it went down a treat and was so thoughtful. I cannot recommend Riviere House and its wonderful hosts enough!

A well presented property. We liked the separate games room and bbq house. The furnishings are comfortable and adequate. As an older person I would have liked a grab handle in the main bathroom walk in shower, there is nothing to hold onto if you feel unsteady. We loved our stay and would definitely rebook.

We have just returned from an extended family holiday of 10. We have been coming to St Ives for years and this is the best large property we have stayed in. The garden and outside space is so well thought out. The children loved the games room and park area. The indoor Pixie Hut was fully equipped complete with kitchen sink. Lovely to sit in the hot tub with the beautiful views and sunsets from the garden over to St Ives. Located in a very peaceful and relaxing setting but minutes from amenities. The house was very spacious and fully equipped. We didnt want to leave, we will definitely be booking again next year.

The hot tub was a fabulous treat after a day by the sea. Nothing is too far away but it also is a peaceful location with no passing traffic and far reaching views. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ideal location for us to explore many beaches with Hayle only 15min drive beautiful sunsets looking from hot tub across the to Hayle . We had two issues both were dealt with in a timely manor. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed this property

Our recent stay at Riviere Cottage was absolutely delightful. Jane had considered every detail to ensure our comfort. The cottage is incredibly wellequipped and spacious, making it a perfect fit for our family, which included my wife, parents, and two dogs. One of the standout features of Riviere Cottage is its location. The long driveway track, set far from the main road, provided a sense of security, especially for our dogs. We didnt have to worry about them wandering near a busy road, which was a huge relief. The garden is beautifully maintained and offered endless exploration opportunities for our toddler, who had a fantastic time discovering all the nooks and crannies. The cottage itself is remarkable. Each of the five bedrooms is gloriously equipped, and the overall decor and amenities reflect the owners commitment to quality. Although only one bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the other bathrooms are so well done that it didn't detract from our experience at all. Communication with Jane was a breeze. She was responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We cannot thank Jane enough for their hospitality. I cannot speak highly enough of Riviere Cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Riviere House. Wow! We were all smitten from the moment we arrived and this feeling lasted throughout our stay. One of those memorable holidays when it was truly sad to leave. Completely true to the listing, but seeing it all in reality was still a thrill. The quiet location suited us perfectly with distant views of St Ives made even better by a couple of glorious sunsets. So many options to relax or eat large kitchen table, dining room, patio area with hot tub, amazing BBQ hut with seating, games room, large garden and play equipment for the grandchildren. Wifi was a little hit and miss and so the smart tv functions were largely redundant, but proved the only slight problem. If you're looking for a large holiday home for family or friends and relish the quiet reassuring sounds of nature surrounding you, this is your choice.

Our family had an amazing stay at this perfect cottage. The hot tub and bbq room were amazing and the games room was a perfect extra . The cottage was clean and had every thing you could wish for a perfect family holiday. The WiFi had issues because of maintenance. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
