The Tide House is a ground-floor beachfront house sitting directly above Smuggler's Cove on Cornwall's north coast. Private steps lead straight down to the sand and floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted ocean views from inside. This is a proper beachside property you can watch the tide roll in and surfers from the terrace without leaving your seat.
Portreath village is walkable with a bakery, pubs, cafés and surf hire. The South West Coast Path runs through the area giving access to cliff-top walks. Seals are regularly spotted near Godrevy Lighthouse and Tehidy Country Park's 250 acres of woodland trails are close by.

To reach The Tide House by car, head into Portreath village on the B3300 off the A30. The property sits directly above Smuggler's Cove and private off-road parking is available on arrival. An EV charger is also on site.
The nearest railway station is Redruth, approximately 4 miles from the property. From Redruth you can take a taxi directly to Portreath the journey takes around 10 minutes.
