5 Longshore, Newquay

This was a special holiday for our 25th wedding anniversary so we brought our family with us. The house was lovely and ideal for all ages 14 to 78. Everything we needed was supplied, the girls enjoyed the hot tub each night and spent time on the lovely balcony. Thank you for fixing the curtain pole so quickly. We all had a lovely time.

We absolutely loved our stay at 5 longshore, the property is so beautiful! Spacious, very clean and well presented, the beds were so comfy! Im going to miss that bed! The open plan living area is just stunning! The sunsets were something else!! Wed definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in porth!

Property was in the perfect location for the beach, good food and days out. The view from the main room was lovely and enjoyed watching the sunsets from it. The house had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone else

The property was fantastic it was clean and well equipped. Is a fantastic location and surrounding area. Had everything you needed for a stay home from home. Had an email from the owners before we let with instructions on how to work things, taxis, places to visit things to do etc.

Great property. Real home from home with everything needed. The living space was great to spend time as a family and watch the sun set on an evening! Bedrooms all very comfy and bathrooms modern and spacious. The deck to the side was great with a hottub, sauna and cold bath! We managed to squeeze 3 large cars in all be it at a push. Easy walk to the beach, pub and the best little pizza place called Ansum, its a must visit.

Absolutely stunning house with stunning views. The house is very clean and tidy and the kitchen is very well equipped. The hot tub was very clean and my grandchildren loved it. We had a fantastic week and will be back. The only issue we had was overgrown weeds in the hot tub area, but this was rectified immediately by the owners. It would also be great if there was a 2nd outdoor bin, because there was 7 of us it soon filled up.

We had a really fantastic week at 5 Longshore. The house is really spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party of seven three adults and four kids. The facilities were also excellent particularly the hot tub and sauna that we all enjoyed using. Just a couple of minor quibbles. The kitchen and particularly the fridge needed a good clean when we arrived. Also the barbecue that we were looking forward to using and had brought meat down with us for that purpose was filthy to the point of being unusable although to be fair to the owners they agreed to pay for some disposable barbecues. The area around the wellness deck could also do with a little bit of sprucing up it was a little dirty and there were some weeds etc. growing out of the decking not a huge issue but maybe something to look out for in the future. The owners however were fantastic and responded to all of our queries quickly and courteously. Despite those little quibbles we would definitely stay again. The house is in a fantastic location close to Newquay and no more than three minutes walk to the beach with great views from the main living area, the balcony and the master bedroom

Lovely location, great views and really quiet. Probably the best facilities we've ever had and definitely the best instructions via email war and peace lol. The sky tv makes all the difference if it rains. Sauna and hot tub were great and we used them alot. Thanks for a great holiday xxxx

A lovely and modern property with space to park two vehicles. It is located in Porth, a short walk down the hill to Porth beach. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped. The house would benefit from a drying rack, for those rainy days when you cannot hang your washing out. There were no recycling bins either, only a waste bin. I would recommend this property.

What a beautiful property in an excellent location. We had a wonderful week here and thoroughly enjoyed the house with its fantastic view of Porth Beach, including amazing sunsets. The house has everything you could need including a hot tub and sauna with a view! Thank you and we'll be back for sure.

Fantastic week over Easter in this gorgeous house in a perfect location. As a big family of 8 we can struggle to rent holiday places which are big enough, right amount of beds, bathrooms and dinning table, but this place had it all.. 3 toilets! A must for a big family, spacious bedrooms and large dinning table for dinner and lots of family games, and all with a beautiful view of the beach and sea. The kitchen had everything we needed, the 2nd TV room was great for when the football was on Only the boys wanted to watch that The hot tub was a hit, even the cold bath was used by the kids! It was everything we needed and more. The host was fantastic, with a very detailed welcome email, and a hi, were here if you have any issues checkin, and happy to say we had no issues, we loved the whole week. The kids LOVED the beach right on the door step, the husband was even more impressed with the pub on the edge of this beach Mermaid Inn which had some lovely bar snack, perfect for munching on after hours in the sand and sea. Newquay town center is only a 15minute walk along a beautiful coastline with a number of other coves beach, Sea and pubrestaurant The town itself had a number of high street shops as well as independent shops and bakery. The harbour beach was a favorite for the little one, as there were no waves, we did try a bit of crabbing, but didnt manage to catch any. The older kids did some water sports with Newquay Activity centre Coast steering along the cliffs which they LOVED and some surf lessons on Fistral beach, which has sightly harsher weather conditions then the other beaches, I believe perfect for surfing, not that I tried it myself! there has since been chatter about buying a surf board! We did walk the other way along the costal path to Watergate Beach, which again was beautiful, loads of facilities and some very nice freshly made pizzas. We did a day trip to the Eden project, and the zip wires they had on offer, which was only a 30 min drive away, apart from that we stayed local as there was so much to do, and we didnt even get around all the different beaches! Looking forward to coming back next year

This is a beautifully presented property with stunning views over Porth Beach. The owners provided lots of information prior to arrival, with details of local amenities and attractions and were easily contactable for anything further we needed. We had a lovely week here with family. Not the owners fault but just a note to future bookers that there was no phone signal in and close to the property, but there is WiFi.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay . Very spacious with all mod cons .Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with views overlooking the beach .Highly recommended .

The issues I had with the experience Someone from your team accidentally wrote my email down wrong in the info to the property owner, however had the correct email to send me booking confirmations. When I called to discuss an issue I dont remember now your colleague realised and said they had then corrected the email. I then never received a welcome package for. I then found after being at the property for a few hours, this wasnt the case, the email was still recorded incorrectly, and the info pack had been bouncing due to incorrect email, and I hadnt been contacted to rectify the issue. on our check in day we realised after searching the whole property there was no welcome pack, and I spent the next hour and a half until 7pm calling your company trying to resolve it, but somehow the issue was still unresolved even though my email was on file with your company, and you had my number. I then couldnt get through until much later than it said your office was open the following day, and when I finally got the email at 320pmon the Sunday, it meant we missed out on using the spa facilities, and having any WiFi or really phone signal & 3g, for 24hrs. The next issue that is maybe more to do with the property owners, was the sauna was not working for the entire time we stayed at the property, except for about 30 minutes on the second evening after many attempts. We kept trying various different options Almost every hour for days, to find out it was broken and needed repair. This is obviously very frustrating and took up a lot of time energy and stress into the holiday. Now I understand this wasnt intentional, but I feel its more than fair to be compensated for the issues that we did everything we could and more to resolve. We feel a partial refund of 223 the equivalent of only 1 day of 7, even though we only stayed for 4 nights from our payment of 1557 is a very fair solution and the very least we feel is fair, as it genuinely put a lot of strain, issue and restriction on the holiday as a whole.

Brilliant stay! The location was perfect as it wasnt too busy and being off the main road was a plus. Even with a minor issue on the first night, after contacting the owner this was solved quickly, even with it being close the midnight! Can not thank enough for everything and for an amazing holiday.

We were really pleased with our holiday property, the house was completely amazing, it was very clean and extremely comfortable. The owner had thought of everything, even basic things like cleaning products that we might of forgotten and they provided a good list of the local amenities and things that we could do while we were there. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. My husband loved the hot tub and our children loved the tv room to relax in during the evenings and for me the morning cuppa was best enjoyed on the balcony enjoying the great view of the beach. I can honestly say that it was one of our best UK holidays and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

We had a fabulous stay here. Flossy has thought of everything, providing us with lots of information prior to our stay with places to visit etc and was very helpful when we needed a little assistance with the key safe. We would definitely recommend staying here. We were so close to the beach which was perfect for our family.
