Mill house was an absolutely brilliant house for our two families to share whilst in Cornwall for my nieces wedding. The house is decorated to a very high standard. The upside down layout lovely as you unexpectedly step out to the garden from there which was equipped with BBQ, table and chairs, four steamer loungers with cushions and the absolute bonus of a hot tub! The owner was an absolute delight to deal with. We shall definitely recommend and return. The coffee drinkers amongst us would love the addition of a coffee machine.

We were four couples in two cars spending almost a week in Cornwall, and the Mill House turned out to be a perfect base for our daily excursions to various towns and villages along the southwestern coast. The house was exactly as described clean, tidy, modern and well provided for with all sorts of equipment and amenities. In addition to flowers on the dining table, the owner even supplied us with bread, juice, butter, jam and milk, good enough for a simple breakfast in the first morning. The men in our group were all impressed by the SONOS sound system covering the entire upper level of sittingdining area controlled by an iPad fixed to the kitchen wall and the ensuite bathroom with a separate control in the master bedroom. The ladies were all impressed by the kitchen and the gasfired BBQ grill, which we got to use one evening when the rain finally stopped. However, some of them cited two small disappointments. One was the absence of a microwave machine anticipated as this was not on the amenities list. The second was that a bit of a surprise the nonstick frying pan was absolutely brand new unlike those in most other BandBs that were seriously scratched based on our experience, but as it turned out, the pan could not be used on an IH stove. I managed to talk briefly to the owner who lived just across the street on the second morning, and she noted that she got the pan without realizing this limitation hopefully this will have been addressed by now. Personally, I have a slight regret that none of us took advantage of the jacuzzi not far from the BBQ grill in the backyard. It was filled up to the brim, well heated up and covered with a huge canvas. Should have brought my swimwear along! All in all, we were thankful that the owner provided such a fantastic lodging for our trip. Recommended with no reservation whatsoever!

Mill House is in a great location to explore any area of Cornwall which weve done, set in a lovely complex of barns. The actual barn is outstanding, furnished nicely so it feels more like a home. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, coupled with super comfy bedrooms, and lovely bathrooms its been a great stay. Weve had frosty nights under the stars in the hot tub and cosy evenings in front of the log burner. The visit was about quality family time and Mill House allowed us to do that comfortably.

Everything was lovely. Very well appointed. Some of the group found it difficult to get up off the sofa. Would recommend.

We were a group of eight and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mill House which was modern, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The elderly in the group struggled with the low settees and thought grab rails in the bathrooms would be a good idea, otherwise all was very good.

We loved our stay and thought the property was really beautiful. A perfect place to relax with friends and family. We thought it was extremely well equipped with everything we could need and the little arrival gifts were very thoughtful. Our friends who stayed with us are going to look to book with you for future holidays, they were really impressed. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful family stay here. The facilities are outstanding. Well furnished with luxury linen and comfortable large beds. Excellent bathroom facilities in these luxury cottages. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the enclosed garden area and the hot tub. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful barn conversion. Very well thought out modern, high end, accommodation, with excellent facilities. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault this property, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

An ideal venue and location for our family reunion. Mill Cottage is simply perfect with everything provided that you could possibly need, from the welcome pack of local essentials to the hot tub and BBQ. The owners were very kind and helpful when needed. The Red Lion is only 10 minutes walk and serve good beerfood. The coast path is only 2025 mins walk away. Only one negative about Mill Cottage, you never want to leave. Highly enjoyed and recommended by us all. Many thanks.

This is our third stay at the mill house since 2021 and the high standards of cleanliness and maintenance remain each time. We love coming here knowing that everything is just perfect and the lovely owners are always on hand. We had the best time, house was better than expected. Very cosy home to come back today after a day at the beach or on a nature trail I just wish there was more items in the kids area outside like a swing

The house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and a baby. We had everything we needed and more.

The property itself is of a very high standard. The fixtures and fittings are top quality. It felt like going into a show house. In fact it is prepared to such a high standard, that it is difficult to believe that anyone else had stayed there. Bridget, the owner was very helpful and always available if needed. Over the years we have stayed in a number of properties. None have been as food as this.

Superb accommodation. Great attention to detail. Extremely comfortable, space for a large familygroup, yet cosy and inviting. Great location combining peace and tranquility with ready access to Falmouth and surrounding countryside. Would thoroughly recommend.

Mill House is perfect I every way! Beautifully presented rooms, spacious and with everything you may need for your holiday. Beds are very comfortable and the hot tub great at end of a day of walking it now has a gazebo over it which was great on the kne night it rained! Owners could not do enough, texting during week to see if there was anything we needed. We were able to see the other properties on the site too, all to same excellent standard. Would highly recommend Boskensoe Barns!

This was perfect for a three generations family holiday. The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and wellequipped. The hot tub and gas bbq were a welcomed extra. The small, enclosed garden area was great with young children. The owner is very approachable and helpful. All in all, we can thoroughly recommend. Thank you to our hosts!

Over many years of renting holiday properties this is the best we have ever had. Everything was of a high standard. Our weather was very poor all week and the holiday was saved by the quality of this property. The same can also be said of the Mill House, which we also rented.

We loved The Barn. Its was the best equipped holiday home we have ever rented, and by far the most luxurious and comfortable. The design decor and furnishings had been well thought out and we had a great stay marred only by the smoke alarms going off for the last 2 nights, which disturbed us all. Especially as the last night they went off twice. Fault on the system. I emailed Bridget at Boskensoe barns twice but have had no feedback. I hope this has been picked up for the next occupants.

This is by far the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in in the UK and will definitely be booking again. We were so impressed by the comfort of the beds that we came home and ordered the same mattress, pillows and duvet that we had during our stay.

The Barn was beautiful, very spacious and finished to such a high standard. We loved the welcome pack with local goodies and the log burner was brilliant. Bridgit was so welcoming and helpful, and we are already thinking about a return trip.

This was our second stay at the property & we wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. A Beautiful old barn, renovated to an extremely high standard with quality fixtures & fittings. Comfy beds, large modern bathrooms, spotlessly clean overall. Lovely private garden space, excellent well looked after hot tub, great for star gazing ! Thankyou for the generous welcome pack, we loved the Cornish produce and your local village deli store. The use of the electric charge point was also a massive plus. The only minus is the dog owners in other cottages that still insist on letting their dogs 'roam' on the shared area, despite there now being a dedicated dog exercise area. It meant we couldn't let our young family use that same common area.

Mill House, in Boskensoe Barns, is a superb property in an ideal location for exploring the Helford Area and beyond both N & S coasts. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean and the hot tub is a great addition. We met the owners who are lovely people and helped us to understand how the oven worked!!! Would not hesitate to recommend, or return should we be in that area again. A truly 5 star property.

This was our second visit to the Mill House and whilst its an incredibly long journey for us, we just cannot find anywhere else that compares. The accommodation has maintained the high standards which we found last year it is incredibly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Bridget is always at hand if anything is needed and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is a great one. Weve found such a variety of places to visit, making the village a great location. The children love the hot tub but just have one request for mini dressing gowns!!

It is a beautiful holiday home, the owners have thought of everything. Excellent facilities for all the family to enjoy. Great location as well lots of beaches nearby.
