Just as we expected, perfectly clean and with far more than we needed. Lovely little village, bought some mementos from pendeen pottery for memories. Used the queens arms pub a couple of times for tea. Great food and beer. Andy and Andrea

Two great coastal walks from the door BotallackSt Just and Portheras cove which is Stunning. Short drives to lots of great places st Ives, Mutton point to see the seals, porthcuno beach. Praa sands lovely but watch the parking there. Local pub North inn was great for a drink after walking, lots of people eating there and they have a duke box. We ate at the meadery which was nice, only open at the weekend. Had a great meal at the queens arms in botallack, and st just has lots of nice cafes. Victory View was a beautiful holiday accommodation. Beautifully furnished and decorated with everything at your finger tips. Raquel and Darren's attention to detail was spot on. From the welcome hamper to the tips on where to go. The garden was lovely with a lovely jacuzzi. We would thoroughly recommend staying there.
BRILLIANT Raquel was super helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was OK when we arrived. She also provided some excellent advise for local places to eat and visit. Great relaxing stay for 2 and two dogs don't really want to recommend too much as we will want to return and don't want it getting too booked up but that would be unfair on others not to experience.
Fantastic location we had a great holiday. We would recommend this property. Many thanks to the lovely owners who couldnt of made it any better
Lovely holiday cottage, in a great location for exploring Cornwall. The property was clean and had a beautiful views of the sea. Really friendly, helpful owners who left lovely complimentary gifts for our arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Christine
Lovely well equipped cottage, beautiful views with wonderful sunsets at night. The kitchen has everything you could wish for and spotlessly clean as is the rest of the cottage and hot tub. Got to mention the enormous soft bath towels too heaven. The garden is private and secure if you have dogs, even our mischievous pair couldnt escape. Plenty of clean and comfortable garden furniture. The owners were so helpful when we had a problem whilst we were there not the holiday or accommodation and they went above and beyond our expectations to help us. The location is ideal for exploring, we visited Porthcurno, Minnack Theatre, Lands End, Mousehole, Penzance, Scilly Isles and more with ease. We cant wait to go back! Thank you Raquel and Darren for a wonderful holiday.
This was the perfect setting for our holiday, Raquel was a brilliant host ... Victory View is a wonderful cottage, perfectly located on the coast, peaceful and very tastefully decorated. The owners, Raquel and Darren couldn't have been more helpful. It was a lovely cottage to return to after a day of walking around the beaches and towns of this beautiful part of the country. We highly recommend Victory View which was built in 2023 and is a modern construction with a delightfully traditional cottage feel. The garden is enclosed with a hot tub and there are fields and the neighbouring tin mine grounds for dog walking. The coastal path is nearby as are some beautiful coves and beaches.
Super week here. Everything you could want. Comfy beds, perfect hot tub, well equipped and smart kitchendinning area. Walks from the front door along the coastal path and friendly Count House Cafe just 5 minutes walk away. Good location for exploring the local area. Welcome basket nice touch.
A lovely home from home stay with a view, very clean, comfortable, everything you could possible need! Even extras you never knew you needed Communication from the owners was 5 My fur baby loved the enclosed garden and the Juliet window where he could do his normal neighbourhood watch. Local pub 3 minute walk very dog friendly, local spar shop for all the essentials 5 minute walk, bus stop 1 minute away to explore the whole of Cornwall also dog friendly. Portheras cove locals beach approx 40 minutes away, but well worth it for my dogs very own private beach! 1010 would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
This property is so well appointed its better than our expectations. Lovely basket of basics when we arrived and nice additions in the bathrooms with body wash and hand cream. Owner is really lovely. Underfloor heating in the bedrooms makes them nice and toasty. We would definitely stay again.
A lovely, wellequipped cottage in a perfect location for coastal walks and Cornish history. Would thoroughly recommend.

Damian
Victory view is just beautiful. Its been meticulously refurbished to the highest standards and is so comfortable all your needs have been perfectly thought through. The owners are so helpful and welcoming. I cannot recommend Victory view enough. We will be back. Damian Bradley.
Excellent accomodation. Was really good to have walks straight from the front door, especially for the dog. Stayed for the New Year and the house was lovely and cosy warm, didn't need to use the log burner at all. The sky at night from the hot tub was fantastic, managed to see the Milky Way and a few shooting stars. Great view from the upstairs living room, loved watching the fog and weather roll in and off the sea. Good communication from the owners and would definitely look to stay here again. The one parking space at the rear of the property is quite small so if bringing 2 cars this would be helpful to know we have a Kuga and couldn't get it around, we only had 1 car so not an issue for us.
Rachel
Absolutely beautiful property incredible views, very well equipped and couldn't have asked for better hosts. Had a brilliant stay with our two teen girls and golden retriever I suspect we'll be back!
Lovely cottage that has been renovated to a high standard. The owners ensured a welcoming stay. Would definitely stay again.
I would recommend Victory View to anyone. We had a fabulous week, the upside down set up works so well and the views are incredible. Lots of nice touches welcome basket for us and the pooch. Raquel was a great host checking everything was okay, provided recommendations and went over and beyond expectations when we were later than planned to help us! The house has been renovated to the highest standard and taste and you can tell it has been a labor of love! Prime location and fantastic for staying put or days out. Loved making forever memories and hoping to be back next year
Blaine
We stayed here in August and it was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was immaculate and freshly renovated to a high standard, Raquel and Darren couldnt be any more helpful recommending places to eatvisit and making us feel welcome. I also proposed to my girlfriend during our stay in Victory view and they got us a lovely card and a gift which was a nice touch, thank you! Would not hesitate booking again, Thank you again from Blaine, Faye Alfie our dog child
Lovely cottage, great communication from the owners, they couldnt do enough to help us. The cottage is newly done, everything is decorated to a very high standard. The hot tub was lovely a clean. Nice and quiet location, close to everywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend this cottage.
Victory View is a stunning holiday cottage, with incredible views out towards the sea. It was lovely being able to open the bi fold doors upstairs in the living room and just watch the boats! The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday. The welcome biscuits, Cornish tea, Cornish butter and Cornish milk. The hot tub was brilliant and the garden completely secure for our children and our dog, very private also. The house has been renovated and you can tell how much love and effort has been given to the building, it really is stunning inside and out. All the appliances are top quality. The beds were very comfortable. Great bath and shower also. Racquel and Darren also recommended places to eat, The Queens Arms locally, was one of the best pubrestaurant dining experiences we have ever had, so good we went back a second time! We also really enjoyed The North Inn. Local places such as St Just are simply stunning and well worth a visit. Would recommend Victory View to anyone and would love to return at some point. Thanks to Racquel and Darren for allowing us to let it for a week, we had a fantastic holiday!
We stayed for a week in the middle of July and couldn't recommend it highly enough, everything you could ever need in a holiday home is supplied and if it isn't then the lovely hosts Raquel and Darren will ensure it is very quickly !
