Kensa Reviews

Comfortable and well equipped house. Ideally placed for the beaches of the rugged north coast and the south coast including Falmouth. The beach and restaurant recommendations we tried were just as described.
Lots of good things to make the stay here comfortable and relaxing. Good kitchen equipment and comfortable beds. Things are starting to need maintenance though. I won't pick out on here but happy to let the owner know if they would like. Happy to return as we got a reasonable last minute deal.
4 Adults and 1 Dog stayed at Kensa In January 2026. The accomodation was booked at short notice after our original booking at a different property was cancelled due to recent storm damage. Kensa was amazing and the owners made us feel welcome with a prearrival email and welcoming goodies for humans and dog. The property was extremely clean, tidy and modern. We had everything we needed for our stay and the hot tub was an added bonus. I would recommend Kensa to groups of up to 4 people with or without dogs. Thank you!
We love Kensa. It's very well equipped, it's in a peaceful location but mostly we love the hot tub.
Just back from a cracking Christmas stay at Kensa Holiday Cottage and overall we were very happy Emit and dogs

We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes in Cornwall as we visit family all times of the year, but this one is definitely up there in the top 3! The accommodation is great, located in a quiet village, but with easy access to major road connections to get anywhere you like. We found Kensa very relaxing and has every kitchen utensil you can think of! The beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep too! The owners have definitely done their homework and thought of everything, it felt like home from home. They even left blankets, throws and treats for the dogs. Just a shame we didnt get time to use the hot tub maybe next time!
We've had some lovely accommodation over the years and this one is up there with the best of them. The Property is clean and comfortable and the added extra of a hot tub is fantastic. It's excellently located to explore Cornwall and hopefully we'll be back one day.
Michael
Kensa had everything that we needed for our holiday. The property is clean, modern and wellequipped. It is ideally placed for our needs including proximity to the north coast beaches at Portreath and Porthtowan for morning dog walks. Our dogs loved having the space to move around. We will be booking again.
Richard
Very nice place to stay. ....hot tub was a lovely touch after drivingwalking all day.....
We loved it. Well equipped, comfortable, quiet. We've booked again for December and are already looking forward to the hot tub. The welcome hamper was so welcoming. The bungalow was very clean.
Lovely property, exceeded expectations. Clean with great facilities. Dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine. Great location to explore Cornwall. Really enjoyed our stay! Dog friendly
We had a lovely stay at Kensa. We were made to feel welcome on arrival with a welcome basket and dog treats. The property was well equipped with everything we needed. A great base for exploring our favourite parts of Cornwall. The bed in the garden room is dipping so may need some attention at some point. But it was a comfortable stay overall. Hot tub was a lovely bonus. Thank you.

Third and definitely NOT last stay at Kensa. Such a wonderful charming property. It's always cleaned to such a high standard and the facilities and amenities are amazingly thoughtful. It's perfect for our toddler too as we don't have to worry about stairs with it being a single story property. Really is a special little place. The owners really do go above and beyond.
So pleased we found this wonderful, comfortable holiday home. Everything was perfect, all the details, clean and tidy, great quality and lovely hot tub too. Thank you so much.
Excellent accommodation & exceeded expectations, everything provided for & beautifully presented, great location to access all the great Beaches, will definitely recommend to everyone as we wanted a special place to stay with a hot tub & could take our dogs for my 50th birthday & Kensa was perfect!

We had a wonderful week at Kensa. The house is beautiful and spotless with lovely doggy and human treats on our arrival. Kensa is in a great position in cornwall giving us a good base to visit everything we wanted to see. The hot tub was lovely in a great enclosed area so the dogs were safe to potter around freely. Kensa was very well equipped, we had everything we needed for the week. Would absolutely recommend.

Our 3rd stay and everytime we have stayed every room is spotless, garden all clear and clean and the hottub is blissful. Can not fault this cottage at all. Perfect location to visit all the beaches of Cornwall with most places being a little 30 mins drive away. Our Dogs absolutely love coming here just as much as us. Thank you Jojo for always having the cottage spotless x

Had a wonderful stay at Kensa. The house is beautiful, with everything you need for however long you're staying for so leave your hairdryer and iron at home lol. Plus, the hot tub is amazing! Location is rural, but well placed and an equal distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. There is a Premier shop a short walk away, which was handy. To the owners you have a beautiful house and we are insanely jealous of you lol. If we ever come back to Cornwall and we will at some point we will choose Kensa once again. Thank you.
William
It was a wonderful stay, every little detail was considered and catered for. Its in a great condition and you can tell us very well maintained. The property was a fantastic location for touring Cornwall, you can get everywhere within 3040 minutes, and if youre not sure what to do the guide has some great suggestions. The welcome basket is a really lovely touch and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake, was great to relax in after fun days out and my 6 yr old thought it was the best thing in life.
Brilliant property. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Information booklet was really helpful. I loved having a hoover to clean up sand we brought back home. Our son loved the hot tub. We have visited before and I'm sure we will book again. Thanks for having us.
Andrew
Great cottage with everything that you would need in a great location with some great walks on the doorstep
Home from home, very clean and tidy spacious ,comfy sofa. Loved the hot tub. Only issue we had was we had no hot water for a night and back patio needs tlc. Would book again and recommend this property to anyone.
Lovely base to explore cornwall. Great hot tub!
Our second trip to Kensa did not disappoint. Even more facilities included this trip. Lovely and clean, light and airy. We came last year with our doggo and was expecting our first child and was lucky enough to return, this year, with our 8monthold son for his first holiday. We love it so much we want to make it our annual trip to Cornwall. We recommend it to anyone looking to stay in and our parents have now booked in for October. Already looking forward to returning next year.
I have to say this place was fabulous, the owners thought of everything. It was perfect, welcoming, completely dog friendly and all perfectly as described. We loved the comfy beds and the hot tub most of all. The property was super clean to top it all, On arrival we were given scones, clotted cream and jam, plus a bottle of wine, and not forgetting the dogs, there were treats for them too. This is the best cottage weve ever booked.
Sophie
The best cottage we have stayed at. From the moment we stepped in it was perfect. Cozy, homely, warm and has everything you could want at home. The hot tub was a blissful way to relax after all the walking days. There are some beautiful beaches only 20 minutes away and an amazing Chinese in the village. It's a great place to stay and we have already booked our return!
We had amazing holiday at Kensa. Property was warm on arrival. Owner had given us Easter eggs, coffee and milk, lovely wine and even treats for our dog. Property was immaculately clean, Modern and had everything that you may wish for. Personal touches were really lovely. We loved all the picture canvases of the local places with post codes on the wall. Welcome folder was very informative. Jacuzzi was amazing and clean. It is emptied and cleaned between every bookings. If cleanliness is important for you, then this is the place! Property was spotless! Reading the previous reviews, everything that had been mentioned by previous quest had been rectified. I.e. there now is a laundry aerial. You really don't need to take any household items with you. These is toilet and kitchen paper, dishwasher laundry tablets, cleaning liquids, and even towels for the muddy paws. We will defenately return.
Michael
Fantastic property in a central location to visit all corners of Cornwall.
The property was lovely and also clean throughout. Jacuzzi was perfect and nice to have. Good location for venturing out and about. Only one gripe and that was the ground source heating facilities. We went in January during the extremely wet period so always returned home soaked, there was no means of drying clothes or shoestrainers or swimwear after using the Jacuzzi etc.
Christine
This is a lovely property very clean and well maintained, loved how homely it felt. The bed was so comfy slept really well, there was everything there that you could possibly need. My only criticism would be the electric hob, it was a nightmare took ages to come on so not sure if it is faulty, only other was the TV we couldn't get the normal TV with BBC ITV etc so not sure if it was us or if it wasnt available. These are the two things that would deter me from staying again, other than that it was lovely
